Sadly, not enough people booked for the barbecue so we had to cancel it.
Apologies to those who did intend to come. Not many people came to Mikes
open weekend, either.
As Mike mentioned, we are considering closing the club there will probably
be an extraordinary general meeting in September to discuss it. If anyone
wants to take over and continue, then that will be the time to say so.
Next meeting: 19th July, 14:30 at Saint Fraigne.
We will be visiting our club project this month, followed by tea in a local caf.

Well June has come and gone and so far very little heat; perhaps this is why
visits to the garden at Pomone, the garden at St. Fraigne and my open weekend at the nursery were poorly supported by our members.
To those loyal supporters who did come a very BIG thank you!
The committee will be holding talks shortly to discuss the closing of this garden
club; it is a shame after 10 years of work, but it seems no-one is interested any
more.
As you know we cancelled the BBQ because of lack of interest. Those people
who wanted to come were invited to have a meal here at my home, and a
good evening was had by 13 of us enjoying some home made burgers and
unusual salads. Again my thanks to those loyal supporters.
Our next meeting will be at the gardens at St. Fraigne, not only to see the
garden designed by Janette Sedgebeer and put together in terrible weather
conditions by Janette, Laurie and myself, but also the other gardens on
display.
