    Educational plan for re-construction after Ecuadors earthquake.

    In April, 2016, Ecuador suffered an earthquake of 7.8 Richter degrees, it caused


    a devastation panorama on Manab and Esmeraldas provinces.
    This situation may keep for years until people recover from the psychological
    pain that reached them; It Is very important to educate people and teach empiric
    builders to apply seism resistant structures to avoid the damage related to
    natural disasters.
    Ecuador is located in a seismic zone between Nazca and Pacific Plates. Risk of
    a new seism is latent, and buildings between the last seism hadnt improved at
    all, as a result Baha city was devastated on 90%, and Portoviejo city 75%.
    Its necessary to change the usual way of people building all over Ecuadors
    coast. Even it isnt just a problem for the coast, but all the country.
    Teaching people to build and certificating them for securely build in a seismic
    zone could be the solution for the imminent disaster.
    Lack of knowledge drives people to build the cheapest without considering
    quality of the structural system, because it isnt visible and ornamental.
    OBJECTIVES
    Propose to create a plan to educate people in these topics.
