Goal setting is one of the important to establish or to be done in order to establish a good
development in one aspect or matter. We all know that now a days park is one of the best place to
relax and to be with the family to make bonding moments. So, in our place I can say that Maria
Cristina Park located in San Vicente Tarlac City in front of Capitol and besides Tarlac National
High School is one of the best park in Tarlac City because of its location and ambiance. To make
more beautiful it must be develop its way, because some edges of its surroundings are not
anymore good. To make more safe and sound to our tourists. It must also have a better and
propose space for our side vendors. So that it will have a good appearance to anyone who wants
to visit and make time to their love ones. Maria Cristina Park this time is a place of all people
who jogs as a part of their exercise and workout. So one of the things that must be develop is the
way or route of the joggers. Because some points are no longer safe.
Strategy Selection
The task for strategic planners in setting strategy is to engineer the change that is needed
to ensure that the organization is well-positioned for the future and will continue to be viable and
relevant to the needs of its guest or tourists in our field. Sport and recreation organizations that
remain static, when all around them is changing, may find themselves with a difficult and
uncertain future. Because in some angles we dont know what will be the consequence of our
actions in developing specific aspects in Maria Cristina Park. These are the points or list that I
think will be my strategy in developing this park.
Setting:
1. Improving facilities and put a playground for the children.
2. Increasing the range of products and services and increasing their value to the tourist.
Like putting some stall for souvenirs and foods to eat while relaxing in the spot.
3. Hiring some crew to maintain the cleanliness and be a tourist guide in staying the park.
4. Organizing some events to advertise the said park in order to be well known in the city,
like some parties and workshops. So that many tourist and also our people will go there
to visit.
5. Increase volume of advertisement through leaflets and flyers.
6. Providing popular and wide-ranging entertainment activities.
Minimizing certain risk factors by:
1. Initial capitalization of the company to sustain operations through year one by making
more flexible and more likely combination of public-private organization to
accommodate both parties.
2. Low overhead through the use of multi-skilled employees and continual training by
making regular training and briefing to the staffs in order to do multi-task and be one of
a kind in serving our guests.

3. Strong customer base through aggressive marketing making extra effort in advertising
and proposing Maria Cristina Park to be a place for relaxation and dating someone
special to make moments.
4. Ample and secure parking making sure of all angles of parking areas and renovate
space to accommodate all the vehicles of the visitors that will going to spend their time in
MariaCristina Park.
Objective setting
In this aspect, it indicates here if it will be done by managing this park what will be our
objective to develop this kind of spot in Tarlac and looking forward for a best and popular
destination for relaxing here in Tarlac.
1. To develop the appearance of the perimeter. Putting proper signage in order to be a
guidelines in our guest.
2. To develop the jogging areas for a better outlook.
3. To develop the segregations of every playground so that all guests will be in a proper
allocation of their hobbies.
4. Develop an incentive plan for research and development areas that are slow to innovate.
5. Introduce existing products into a new guest.

Position Statement
For the better outcome for Maria Cristina Park in front of Capitol, we must declare and
make an action to promote our spots in tourists here in Tarlac, that not only malls, restaurant and
other place than parks can give a relaxation, peace of mind, bonding time and satisfactory. Parks
can also give this kind of satisfaction.
Vision Statement
To be the best and relaxing Park in town by 2020 to market continually the best in Tarlac
City with the full support of public-private organization in this place.
Mission Statement
To be well known park in Tarlac by contributing extra effort in servicing tourist by giving
the best facilities in their stays.

Plan Development and Proposed Facilities

Stage:

Maria Cristina Park has already a stage, but it must be renovated by expanding the
measurement of the stage in order to overview the goodness of every event taken in the park.
Jogging areas:
Giving and putting specific place and route to all joggers so that the park will have clean
and discipline place in staying the park. And also making the place more wider so that all joggers
will be contented and happy while making moments and exercise in their stay.
Parking Lot
Making slot for all the vehicles so that all their wheels will be in proper place and be
secured all the time. A parking Lot that will accommodate all tourists wheels whenever they
visits.
Facilities
1. Putting a playground for ages 1-6 years in order for them to be happy.
2. Putting extra benches for sitting and dining areas with umbrella for food trips.
3. Putting signage in all post for a reminder like No Loitering etc.

Monitoring
Every day will be a day of challenge, so every development that will be implemented will
be monitored and must be evaluated in order to improve all angles of stations in the improvement
of Maria Cristina Park.if the tools and equipment are useful or not. So that every now and then
we can change and improve our strategy for a better result.
