Lenten and Advent Recollections

All Priests, Religious, and Laity of the Diocese of Novaliches

Our yearly Lenten and Advent Recollections are Diocesan events which always
fall on the Saturdays before the First Sunday of Lent and Advent respectively and
lasts from 7 12 noon (half-day). This 2010, these recollections are as follows:
Lenten Recollection: February 20, 2010 (Saturday)
Advent Recollection: November 27, 2010 (Saturday)
These Recollections begin with Lauds, Holy Hour, Sacrament of Reconciliation to
which our Clergy are asked to help hear confessions, a Talk, and ends with the
Eucharist. Please help to make these two yearly events in the Diocese truly an
expression of Diocesan Communion! Fr. Aldrin T. Lopez of our Commission on
Evangelization is waiting for your suggestions regarding the topic and possible
resource persons.

P.S. On January 24-25, 2010 the Nation commemorates the birth of former
President Corazon C. Aquino. All our Parish churches are asked to remember her at
one of the Masses in your Parish church on January 24. On January 25, 2010 at 12
noon, churches and chapels are asked to ring their bells. Please announce these
dates two (2) Sundays before January 24, 2010.
