West Community Associations hosted a meet-
ing at the Burnside Gorge Community Centre
to provide an opportunity for residents and lo-
cal businesses to voice their concerns about the
proposal to locate a biosolids treatment plant in
the Upper Harbour as part of the larger sewage
treatment plans for the Capital Region. About 40
people were in attendance from the two neigh-
bourhoods and Geoff Young, chair of the CRD
fielded questions and concerns.

munity.  These books addressed cross cultural awareness as well as promot-
ed literacy and a love of reading.
