Young Womens Leadership Forum

We believe that we have individual strengths that can be used to better our school community.
We will use conflict resolution skills to solve problems.
We believe that everybody should enjoy our school equally, and feel safe, secure and accepted
regardless of color, race, gender, popularity, athletic ability, intelligence, religion and nationality.
We will stand up for those that are bullied and report incidents of bullying to adults immediately.
We believe that we can make a difference in our community and world through community
service and fund raising for local and national non profit organizations.

By signing this pledge, we the students agree to:

1.
Value student differences and treat others with respect.
2.
Learn conflict management skills and use them with peers and adults.
3.
Uphold and model the Husky Pride values both in and out of school.
4.
Maintain passing grades.
5.
Participate in fundraising and school spirit activities.
6.
Never become involved in bullying incidents or be a bully.
7.
Report honestly and immediately all incidents of bullying to a faculty member.
8.
Support students who have been or are subjected to bullying.
9.
Talk to teachers, counselors or parents about concerns and issues regarding
bullying.
10.
Understand that discussions that take place in the YWLF should be kept
confidential.
11.
Be open and honest about issues that arise in and out of Oak Grove Middle School.
12.
I will speak with Ms. Berglund or Ms. Brower about any concerns I have involving
the YWLF or issues at Oak Grove Middle School.
13.
Participate fully in YWLF discussions and attend after school meetings.
I acknowledge that I understand the expectations and will follow the above guidelines. I
understand that I am subject to dismissal should I not meet the expectations.
