I have a years experience outside of school doing public relations, media relations, and
event planning as Junior Publicist at Per Se PR & Communications. I have worked closely with
Lalohni Campbell at Per Se PR on projects such as the recent Bronner Bros International Beauty
Show, First Anniversary media mixer at the Civil & Human Rights, Kwanzaa Hall and the Atlanta
City Council YoBoulevard partnership event Back to School Block Party, as well as reality TV
show premiere parties. Doing these different events has given me a variety of experience in
corporate and media PR and communications.
I have experience writing press releases, media alerts, sending out media kits, and have
built a substantial list of Atlanta media contacts, from television to radio to print. Im also
skilled in photography, videography, and photo and video editing and have 4 years experience
in journalism writing Arts & Entertainment and Opinion articles for Morehouse Colleges
newspaper, The Maroon Tiger during my time as a student there.
I also have three years experience as Social Media Director/Creative Director for The
Maroon Tiger, Morehouse Colleges student-led newspaper. As Social Media Director, it was my
duty to manage and update all social media accounts, such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook,
and the official website. As Creative Director, I led the artistic direction behind special edition
magazines and photoshoots.

I am proficient in Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Vimeo, Photoshop, and Final

Cut Pro. I work well under pressure and am able to always meet deadlines. I have strong
attention to detail and am somewhat of a perfectionist in my craft, but also not unwilling to
change plans as necessary.
