Students who are unprepared for class
will lose all employability points for the
day and are subject to disciplinary action.

T1 31%, T2 32%, T3 32%, Final Exam 5%

Assessments 60%
Tests count twice, quizzes once
Homework 20%
Shop Assignments 10%
Employability 10%
Cheating is UNACCEPTABLE
and will result in a ZERO & disciplinary action

MISSED CLASS?

Homework assigned while you were absent must be completed no later than two days after you return
If you missed an assessment, you must arrange to stay after school on my extra help day no later than
the first extra help day of the next academic cycle. Failure to do so will result in a ZERO.
If you are absent on a Friday, you must come see me or print out your missing work before the next
academic cycle

REMEDIATION
Optional for students who earn a grade below
65 on a test/quiz to bring grade up to a 65
Mandatory for students who have a D/F at
progress report time until it is brought up to a
passing grade
Failure to do so will result in a detention

CLASS EXPECTATIONS

Be prepared & on time to class

Be respectful
No eating/drinking
No vulgar or offensive language
Adherence to the Diman Handbook
Failure to comply with these expectations will
result in a detention

SHOP ASSIGNMENTS
Due the first day of each academic cycle
If late:
Turn in the next day for a 50%
Stay after for remediation for a 75%
Otherwise it will result in a zero

HOMEWORK QUIZZES
5 questions per quiz 1 quiz per cycle
All work and correct answer must be shown
for full credit

BINDER QUIZZES
5 questions per quiz 1 quiz per trimester
Lesson Title, Objective(s), and an example
from specific lesson dates must be written
down for full credit
