Appropriateness of Assessment Method

2.1 Objective Test

An objective test, which has right or wrong answers and so


can be marked objectively.
Objective assessment is a form of questioning which has a
single correct answer.

Types of Objective Instruments:


1.Recall- This type of objective test allow the learner to
remember what is learned.

Simple Recall- The learner to answer by using a letter, number


or word and phrases to the direct questions or statements.
Completion- Where the learner is required to complete or put
their answers the blank for a missing part of the statement.

2.Recognition- refers to our ability to recognize an event


piece of information as being familiar.

2.1 Alternative Response- To select an answer from the given


two-alternatives option such as yes or no, agree and disagree.
2.2 Multiple Choice- Which you respond by selecting the best
answer from among a number of choices.
2.3 Matching Type - The two items must fit together correctly
based on the assessment directions.
2.4 Analogy- A comparison of two things based on their being
alike in some way.
2.5 Rearrangement- sequential, procedural or operational
arrangement of a given set of disarranged or information.
2.6 Identification- A test where a question is given and will
be answered merely from pure recall with no choices of answer.
2.7 True-false test- contain statements that the student marks
as being either true or false.
