PROFESSIONAL GOALS
Professional Goals: Short and Long Term
Without goals and objectives life can become chaotic. Strong goals help us to map out our objectives, and give us something to strive for. For the last sixteen months my one goal has been to graduate with my BSN from the University of South Florida. Now that I have accomplished this feat, it is time to set new professional goals for myself. Short Term Goals: 1. Successfully pass the NCLEX, and begin working as a Graduate Nurse resident at Mease Countryside Hospital by October 2016. 2. Begin working in a critical care position or emergency department as a CNII by January 2018. Long Term Goals: 1. Apply to an acute care DNP program by January 2019. 2. Graduate from a DNP program by January 2022, and begin working as a nurse practitioner.
