Overview
This class will explore drawing materials, skills, and concepts.
Students will learn a variety of drawing methods and drawing tools.
Students will complete theme based projects and learn to analyze
the formal qualities of their drawings utilizing the elements and
principles of art.

Course Objectives
Students will discover the aesthetics of art forms and are able to
analyze and communicate in specialized language.
Students will engage in skill application that allows students to
develop their artistic ideas to a point of realization.
Students will think creatively to explore the unfamiliar and
experiment in innovative ways to develop their artistic intentions,
their processes and their work.
Students will have the opportunity to respond to their world, to their
own art and to the art of others.
