Script Writing

Objectives
For students transitioning
from level 4 to 5: Students will
aim to finish their scripts during
this lesson. They will engage with
complex sentence structure and
language use as best they can.
They should try to have some
new language elements to
demonstrate that they are
starting to apply their knowledge.
For level 5 students: Students
will be incorporating differing
elements of language in order to
give expression to their scripts.
They will work with complex
sentence, conjunctions and
verbs. By the end of this lesson,
students will be finishing their
scripts, and will have
experimented with different
writing styles and techniques in
order to express their particular
storylines.
For students progressing
towards level 6: Students will
be experimenting with language
in more detail. They will play
around with sentence lengths,
using imagery and identifying
different words to insert in their
work.

Activities
Introduction (00hr05): Today
were working towards finishing
our scripts. If youd like some
help with language please come
and ask me. I really want to see
some imaginative writing, and I
want to see you experimenting
with technique in order to
express yourselves
