Joint working, networks

Keeping it simple
Having a working group
Using the app to hold the info
Regular check-up calls with the Safe
Places providers
Keeping the momentum going
It was very good to be a volunteer to test the
scheme
Testing the scheme helps to make it work
What are some of the challenges?

Checking how well its working

Finding the time for developing the scheme
Keeping on top of the info
Worry about who will lead on the scheme
I had to tell the library what to do about Safe
Places
Promoting common ground guidelines
How can we protect our schemes from
others poor practice?
What do you like the sound of?
Like the what will staff do from Barnsley
We like the sound of more promotional
material with large print. Business Cards
Target Community Centres as Safe Places
Service users doing the training for
businesses/shops
Not a hate crime reporting centre

Whats next?

orange logo & how to implement this whilst
maintaining SIDs own identity

responsibilities for each partner
To engage with childrens services and
schools
