REMARKS
32
33 1. The rated differential pressure specified for the pump has been arrived at based on the highest product density.
34 2. Pump shall be suitably selected for all operating conditions and fluids properties specified. Any short comings shall be highlighted in the Bid. Characteristic curves
35
for various operating speeds indicating operating points shall be provided with Bid for Purchaser review during bid evaluation.
indicating all accessories and instrumentation and connection details. Vendor shall provide complete information for the sealing systems offered along with the bid.
39 5. Double mechanical seal shall be offered and shall be as per API 682. The seal plans shall be selected and approved by seal vendor for the present application. Vendor to
40
consider plan 52 for secondary seal. Vendor to provide the emmission data from the seal/seal-pot that needs to be vented, and provide recommendations on the same.
41 6. Inspection and testing requirement shall be firmed up during vendor bid evaluation stage. Vendor shall furnish preliminary Inspection and Test Plan with the bid.
42 7. The trip speed should be limited to 105%
43
44 8. Vendor to consider Automatic Minimum Recirculation Valve for each pump, as a free issue, to installed by others. Vendor to select the valve suitable for stable

minimum continuous recirculation flow of his pumps and shall provide the selection basis and valve vendor data sheet along with the bid.
The Automatic Minimum Recirculation Valve shall be complete and shall be from a reputed manufacturer such as Schroedahl / Yarway / equivalent, and shall be selected
such that there is minimum possible pressure drop across the main flow direction for the pump rated flow. Vendor to add this pressure drop to the specified differential
head of the pump to arrive at the final pump differential head to be offered -- vendor to clearly identify the same in their bid.
The valve shall be rated for the pump discharge flange rating. Vendor to also indicate the maximum distance the valve can be located from the pump discharge.
9. Vendor to note that there is no cooling water vailable in the plant. Hence any cooling requirement shall be met by air cooling. (Hold)

61 14. Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) of each pump along with its motor, and other auxillaries shall be carried out by vendor at site for final acceptance by Purchaser.
Vendor to provide a typical test plan for same along with the bid for Purchaser's evaluation, however should include 48 hours run test at rated point (or guarantee point)
The entire pump, motor and auxillaries shall perform satisfactorily during the test and
64
meet all the guarantee parameters. Any additional testng instrumentation, etc required shall be adviced by vendor in the bid.
