Element 4.1 Collaborate with Faculty & Community Members Activity: Who Owns What? Survey Time: 20 hours Artifact: Who Owns What? Survey Sample Description: A described in Element 1.4.1, this survey, given to parents, teachers, students, and the administrator, will inform the school how its community views responsibility. Being able to see who feels they should own certain behaviors will help us determine if there is a need for change. Reflection: I definitely think that the analysis of the information in this survey will be pertinent to the improvement of the schools educational environment. For example, parents responses are all over the board concerning the statement Students desire to come to school. Some parents feel that its the students responsibility; others feel its the teachers responsibility. Surprisingly enough, a majority of the sample group actually deemed it to be the parents responsibility. Im anxious to present the findings to the staff to hear their thoughts on the outcome of the survey.
