Office Hours:
We will be available in our classroom for any assistance each morning before 1 st period.
Appointments can be made for after school sessions and sessions during lunch. The
easiest way to contact me is through email or Class Dojo, and we encourage every
parent and student to please feel free to email us.

from class are responsible to get their make-up work from teacher. Students are allowed

Description of Coursework:
Assessments:

These assessments are aligned to the Florida State Standards. Students will
have multiple opportunities to show proficiency in each of the strands throughout
each quarter. This is what is typically seen as tests and quizzes.

Class notes are taken in the Cornell Notes style. Every student is required to
keep an organized notes.
Every class begins with a spiraled review of grade appropriate skills.
Students actively engage in accountable team tasks, or group work, to solve
questions that require deeper thinking and accountable talk.
Students work independently both inside and outside of class to further their
understanding of each of the standards.

Classroom of Tomorrow:
Our classroom utilizes several devices including TI-Nspire Handhelds, group desk
top computers and laptops. Students are responsible to use this technology
respectfully at all times.
