Created in 1989, ASU Family Resources (AFR) has served students, faculty and staff for over twenty years.
AFR is part of Off-Campus Student Services (OCSS). AFR is committed to supporting families in
effectively managing their family, work and educational responsibilities, taking a broad and diverse view of
family. Besides spouse/partner and children, AFR believes family stands for all aspects of an individuals
life at home, at ASU and in the community.
ASU Family Resources strives to:
Provide university families with appropriate resources
Advocate for the needs of families
Collaborate with departments, on and off campus, in the development and delivery of programs
and services to the ASU community
Expand family responsive policies to insure a healthy and productive environment for university
families and contribute to the well-being of future generations
