HOW CAN I VOLUNTEER?

PTSO stands for Parent Teacher Student

Organization.

Whether youre a parent, student or EHS staff

member, you can be more involved by simply
becoming a member. You decide how much or
how little you would like to volunteer.

Our PTSO has become a central place for all of

our parents, staff and students to come and find
out what is going on at Edison High School.
Currently our school has over 2,000 students in
the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades.

The main goal of the PTSO is to maintain

cohesion within the many groups that are in
place throughout the school and to raise funds
for our sponsored events. It consists of many
volunteer driven committees. These committees
provide support and activities, which make EHS
more enriching.
With the support of the EHS Administration, we
are able to have an open forum and discuss
subjects that concern everyone. You will always
find either Mr. Ross or one of our Vice Principals
present at our meetings. They are the key for
keeping us up-to-date on what is happening at
EHS. In the past we have had guest speakers
from the Board of Education or our own
Guidance Department.

Maintain an active membership with the Edison
High PTSO, for the entire time your student is
enrolled at EHS, and your child qualifies for a
chance to receive a $250 Scholarship Award
from the PTSO upon graduation.

teacher appreciation, project graduation and so
much more!!! As you can see we need your help!
Unfortunately, events may be cancelled due to
lack of volunteers. Check the EHS website or
Facebook page for continuous updates.
Our brief monthly meetings are usually held the
2nd Tuesday of the month, beginning at 6:00 PM
in the faculty lounge.
As always, keep up to date with current events

volunteering your time!

All memberships are donations meant to support the PTSO programs, such as Teacher Appreciation, Student Honor Roll
Breakfast and Project Graduation, throughout the academic year. Also, your membership does not obligate you to attend
meetings or to volunteer!

Individual Adult PTSO Membership One Parent, guardian, faculty, grandparent

$15 Student+ Membership

Includes Basic and One Student Membership Student is also entitled to one
vote PLUS eligible to apply for the PTSO $250 Scholarship Award.
