Subject: Proposal regarding certificates and funds for prizes for the upcoming
Carpe Diem event.
Dear Sir/Maam,
Carpe Diem the Literary Club of the institute intends to organize
BAATUNI (Hindi J.A.M) event on 18thMarch, 2016 wherein students will have
to speak the correct Hindi. Maximum 1 minute will be given for speaking and
within that time range they would have to speak on given topic. The event
would help boost the confidence of the students along with enhancing their
orating skills and knowledge.
The details and requirements of the event are enclosed herewith. We
therefore, request you to provide us with the funds for prizes and stationery
for the event.

Rules :
One minute of speaking correct Hindi without faltering.
Each contestant will be given a topic/word/phrase on the spot for which he
will get 15 seconds to think.
Students will be judged on the following basis:
a. Content
b. Confidence
c. Fluency and language
d. Body language
e. Creativity
Winners will be suitably rewarded with Certificates & prizes.
