Completing the Circle Keeper Guide

Story Choices
Answer the following questions, and record your answers on a scrap piece of paper:
1. The reason that the investigators were pulled through the painting was:
A. The house is a real place, and theres a baby trapped in the house calling out to the
investigators to free it before the witches do something horrible to it.
B. The house only exists in the painting, but it feeds on humans and creates the illusion of
a baby crying in order to get people to stay a while so it can feed.
C. The house exists in a different dimension, the baby is actually an otherworldly horror
trying to manipulate the investigators into completing the ritual to let him into our
world.

Sedative Kit, Shotgun, Nothing of Interest x3. Also claim cards based on the Variable Card Setup
Table.
3. Obstacle (?): Claim the cards you are instructed to based on the Variable Card Setup Table along
with Ritual Circle.
4. Lock (L): Claim the following cards Dark Room, Dreadful Passage, Guarded Passage, Jammed
Door, Padlocked Door, Runelocked Door, Sealed Door.
5. Build Mythos Deck: Build the Mythos deck with cards containing the following icons: Down
Stairs, Up Stairs, Bat
6. Claim Keeper Action Cards: Command Minion, Darkness, Evil Presence, Uncontrollable Urges,
Witchcraft. (Note that this refers to the Witchcraft provided with the scenario)
7. Claim Objective Card: Take the card matching your story choice for question 1.

8. Starting Cards and Threat: Draw 1 Mythos and 1 Trauma card and gain 1 threat.

Place 1 random card in each empty room.

Notes: When seeding an Obstacle, if that room has a clue in it, that obstacle must be Closed Safe,
Locked Cabinet, Magic Box or Manhole Cover. If that room does not have a clue in it, then you must put
one of the other obstacles.
When seeding a Key, you seed the card that can bypass the Obstacle in the indicated room.
When seeding a Lock, you may place any lock from the ones claimed.
When seeding a Treasure or Tome, you may place any one from the cards claimed in that category in the
Variable Card Setup Table.

Prologue
As you wake up, you find that you are not alone in this foreign foyer. A couple other people are beside
you on the floor. After a couple introductions, you realize that you are all investigators who were also
called to investigate paintings at different museums in the Arkham area. Youve just barely introduced
yourself when the cry of a baby comes from behind the wall behind the pedestal. You may not yet know
whats going on, but finding that baby certainly could help.
