Introduction

The World Bank Assisted Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement Projects (WASSIP) is designed to
increase the access to piped water services and improves sanitation in Mullaithivu, Kilinochi,
NuwaraEliya, Kegalle, Ratnapura, Badulla and Monaragala Districts and capacity development of
drinking water sector institutions.
