The Imitation Game vs. All the Light We Cannot See
The Imitation Game and All the Light We Cannot See have the similarities and
differences. The first similarities of the movie and novel was both of the setting was in World
War II. The differences in both setting of the story about, Imitation game was based on the
person in British, and All the Light Cannot See was based on German side. There have more
similarities and differences between All the Light We Cannot See and Imitation Game .

The similarities between movie/novel are timeline. In the novel, there have the time skip
part in the beginning/ middle part of novel and also movie have the scene that have time skip.
For example, when the movie talks about Christopher, time was changed to Alans school time.
The other similarities was the enigma and radio. In the movie, they are trying to break enigma
code by the computer, because the enigma was the unbreakable code machine in the World
War II. In the novel, the uncle Etienne send the radio waves so other many peoples know whats
happens their. The similarity was the both machine can send the message with no censorship.

The similarities of the character was the their important people was dead. For example,
Marie-Laures father was dead. In the movie, Alans first friend in the school was died by
disease. The similarities of Werner and Alan was the they were both engineer. The werner was
making the radio transceiver for German, The Alan Turing was make computer ( Christopher) for
British.

The movie and novel had the similar setting, characteristic, and other thing. Also their
have the other similarities between Alan to Marie-Laures father. The Alan Turing was died by
the society and also Marie-Laures father was dead by german society. So their still have the lot
of similarities between Imitation Game to All the Light You Cannot See so you can find other
similarities if you you wants to find.
