Thegrade3studentsandteacherswillgoonnaturewalksmanytimes
throughouttheyear.Ourwalkstakeusoffcampusintothewoodedareaacross
fromtheschoolandtheareabesidetheschoolviatheroadnexttotheschool
entrance.Eachsessionwillincludeadiscussiononpreparationandsafety,a
shortwalktoandfromourforestsetting,acollaborativeactivity,timeforfree
explorationandareflectiononthelearningexperience.

Participatinginnaturewalkscanhelpyourchildbuildadeeperappreciationfor
andconnectionwiththenaturalworld.Astheynavigatenewandfamiliar
spaces,witnesschangesanddiscoverbiodiversityaroundthem,theirconfidence
andcuriositywillcontinuetobloom.Yourchildwilllearntoberesponsibleand
comfortableintheforestsettinginalltypesofweather.

Bysigningthepermissionformbelow,youareallowingyourchildtoparticipate
inallupcomingnaturewalksthisschoolyear.Thegrade3teamwillnotbe
sendingfurtherpermissionformshomeforeachnaturewalk.Wewillinformyou
