Geothermal Energy
Geothermal energy has been used for thousands of years in some
countries for cooking and heating. It comes from a power underneath the
Earth, which was called Thermal Energy. The thermal energy is contained
in the rock and fluids beneath Earth's crust. A geothermal heat pump
system can help heat the house because of its temperature.
Geothermal energy is the energy stored in the form of heat beneath
the earth's surface. It is a carbon free, renewable, sustainable form of
energy that provides a continuous supply of heat that can be used to heat
homes and office buildings and to generate electricity. Our planet Earth is
the biggest source of energy. Because of earth generates the heat energy
under the earth crust, Geothermal energy is renewable and could always
being use until the Earth would stop to generate heat which is impossible.
Geothermal energy has been use more than imagine. The Uses of
Geothermal Energy for Houses. For example, when the temperature in you
house was too cold the geothermal energy that used by the heater can
help generates. Also during the hot weather, by the use of Geothermal
energy help bring in the cold air inside your house. Uses of Geothermal
Energy in Farming Hungary is also a major user of geothermal energy,
where eighty percent of the energy demand from vegetables growers is
met using geothermal energy technology. It helps to heat up the
greenhouse for the plants to grow in the cold season.
Uses of Geothermal Energy in Industry its uses vary from drying
fruits, drying vegetables, drying wood, and dying wool to extracting gold
and silver from oreand theUses of Geothermal Energy in Infrastructure &
Electricity. Geothermal energy is also used to heat sidewalks and roads in
order to prevent freezing in the winter. In the Netherlands began using
geothermal energy to keep bike lanes from freezing in the wintertime.
Geothermal power is often considered the third or fourth most
important source of renewable energy, behind solar, wind, and hydro.
Right now, it accounts for just a small portion of the world's power
capacity -- in 2010, it accounted for just around 10,709.7 MW of installed
capacity -- but analysts expect geothermal plants to begin proliferating
around the globe at a rapid clip.
