1. Identify the communication that is happening. Analyze the kind of

communication they are having.
They had some kind of communication going on.
Interpersonal. For one who does not have any idea of whats
going on, Koichi kept on trying to decipher what is happening since his
classmates keep on ignoring his questioning. Not only him but also
with the rest of the class when they decided to kill the dead.
Non-verbal. When students, especially the officers of class 3 -3
tries to hide the curse from him and when they ignored him. Also when
Mei decided to let her classmates kill her just to end the curse. She
was quiet it says a lot.
Verbal. They do talk to each other. The class just got jargons
Koichi cant comprehend at first.
Written. When they read files, find the tape, but most especially
the one Mei wrote on her desk. Little communication here.
2. Analyze some characters and answer why they act like that.
Koichi Sakakibara
A transfer student that is oblivious of the curse his class has.
Curious and horror lover, he began the search for the reason of the
mysterious deaths inside his class. Pretty persistent with having Mei by
his side.
The male protagonist and the one who has his name associated
with death. It is because way back 1997 in Japan, a middle school boy
killed a boy and a girl and left a note with his name Sakakibara.
Mei Misaki
The one who do not exist of class 3 3. She first appeared in the
hospital, carrying a doll that shouldve been given to her now deceased
sister on its birthday. She is an introvert and she even liked the feeling
of no one noticing her.
Her left eye was of a doll eye and through it she sees the color of
death. At first, kept telling Koichi to stay away from her but later on
she got accustomed to his presence that it didnt bothered her. She

was strong enough letting her classmates assume that shes the
dead. She was cautious of telling Koichi who the dead was.
Tomohiko Kazami
He was smart in class but not smart enough to think wise at the
end of the story. When his childhood friend thought he is the dead
and tried to kill him, he started killing his own classmates asking one of
his other classmates if he/she remembers who he just killed,
desperately wanting to end the dreadful curse.
Izumi Akazawa
She was the student countermeasure of the class 3 3. Koichi
described her as the strong and dependable woman but in the ending,
she didnt justified it. She started killing people when she saw Mei
holding something like a bar or a steel because she thought she was
the dead. Like Tomohiko, she was desperate to kill her saying it was
for all of their sake. She then died when the big window crashed and
glasses of it struck her.
Tatsuji Chibiki
He was the teacher of the class 3 3 when Misaki died. Now he
serves as the schools librarian and knows plenty of information about
the happenings in the school. When asked why he still stays despite
the mysteries happening, he said because he felt guilty of what
happened last 26 years ago. He felt the responsibility to help students
of class 3 3 remain alive every year. He and the officers pioneered
the charms to stop the killings in the school.
3. Analyze the whole situation.
A boy from Yomiyama North Middle School of 9 th grade, class 3 died, way
back 26 years ago. The smart and pretty boy was loved at school so the
people there decided to act like the boy was still alive. He even appeared in
the class graduation picture pale but smiling like the others. And after
that, a curse begun.
In the following year, strange deaths started, killing students from the 9 th
grade class 3, and or their very own relatives that are in town. And the
curse still haunts the class at the present year.
In the present, Koichi Sakakibara transferred to the said school and was
enrolled in the cursed class. He noticed that they dont seem to notice the

girl with the eye-patch, Mei so he asked about it but his classmates
remained silent about it.
Discomforted, she approached Mei who relentlessly tries to drive him
away.
Persistent he was, he again tried to ask his classmate but they refused to
tell him anyway. Then the girl she asked died. He cant help not knowing
whats happening so he followed Mei and asked her. Then she told him what
happened last 26 years ago. He had many more questions but they had no
time left so the next day, he tried his luck again.
But to no avail.
When the nurse who helps him knowing who Mei is died in the schools
elevator, the student countermeasure, Izumi, decided that the class should
ignore Koichi as well to strengthen the charm against the curse. Thats how
he understood what they are doing to Mei. And since he is also considered
the one that does not exist, he is now free to ask Mei again and the
librarian accommodated him too with the mystery happening inside the
class.
The class thought the curse had stopped until their own teacher decided
to kill himself inside of his class. Later on, they found out that the guy even
killed his own mother. It dawned to them that the curse is still on.
Since the charms didnt worked, Izumi with some of the class officers
decided to notice Koichi and Mei. Then they discussed what they just knew,
someone who stopped the curse 15 years ago.
The guy didnt seem to remember it at first, but later on he was able to
say that he hid the way to stop it in their own school.
The guys looked for it and listened to it. They stopped listening for it
when they heard someone coming and continued it in a bedroom where
they were staying for the trip to the shrine. It said that the only way to stop
it was to bring back the dead to the dead, or to kill the dead.
Unfortunately, someone tried to handle the thing on its own and tried
killing the one who he suspect is the dead. Furiously, the others went
killing too when they heard about the tape. People ended desperately killing
each other as the house goes on fire. Later did they knew that it was the
assistant homeroom teacher who died just a year and a half.
