Godbound is an acquired template that can be added to any creature (referred to he
reafter as the base creature).
The base creature s type remains unchanged. The godbound creature uses all the bas e creature s statistics and special abilities except as noted here. HD: A godbound creature always has double its maximum hit points per hit dice. G odbound creatures also gain an additional 14 hit points at first level. Saves: The godbound creature may commit one point of Effort for the day to autom atically succeed in any saving throw, even if it has already rolled. Special Qualities: A godbound creature retains all the special qualities of the base creature and also gains the following. -Words of Creation: Choose three Words of Creation to bind as the creature's pow er core. -Divine Gifts: Spend two gift points per hit dice plus one gift point choosing g ifts from your bound Words. Lesser gifts cost one points and greater gifts cost two, binding a new Word costs three such points. You can master lesser gifts fro m outside your bound Words by spending two points apiece if you can explain how your own existing Words could create that effect. -Effort: Godbounds have one point of Effort per hit dice, plus one. -Dominion: Godbound creatures may gain Dominion points by -Fray die: At the beggining of each of its combat round, a godbound may roll a 1 d8 damage die and apply it to any other creature within 36 meters (line of sight is required, therefore, invisible creatures are unaffected). -Overflow: Whenever this creature deals more than enough damage to kill another creature, the remaining damage may be applied to any other creature within 36 me ters of the godbound (line of sight is required, therefore, invisible creatures are unaffected), provided the overflow target's Armor Class is not higher than t he main target's. If intelligence is lower than three, increase it to three. Increase any two abil ity scores by one. Challenge Rating: As base creature +15. Treasure: Standard for a creature of the adjusted CR.
