Leptospirosis is an infectious disease that affects human and animals. The disease is
caused by Leptospira bacteria. In Town S, rats are the vector of this disease. The high
population of rats causes the widespread of the disease.
The Town S Municipal Council organises a Leptospirosis Prevention Campaign to
eliminate the disease vector.
Diagram 14.1 shows the banner for the campaign.
Leptospirosis ialah penyakit berjangkit yang memberi kesan kepada manusia dan
haiwan. Penyakit tersebut disebabkan oleh bakteria Leptospira. Di Bandar S, tikus
merupakan vektor kepada penyakit itu. Populasi tikus yang tinggi menyebabkan
penyakit itu merebak.
Majlis Perbandaran Bandar S telah mengadakan Kempen Mencegah Leptospirosis
untuk menghapuskan vektor penyakit tersebut.
