September 27th and 28th: iReady testing in 1st grade
September 29th at 8:35am: All school assembly on campus
October 3rd: Picture Day at Creekside (forms will be sent home this Monday! 1st grade takes individual
photos at 10:30.)
Thursday, October 10th 10:30am: Field Trip to Humane Society Truckee Tahoe

*Attention Families! I will be collecting dog and cat food and toy donations to bring to the
Humane Society on October 1. If you have spare dog or cat food or wouldnt mind purchasing
extra dog or cat food to donate to this wonderful organization- it would be much appreciated!
Please note, HSTT cannot accept open dog/cat food.
October 18th and 25th: Humane Society Pet Pals to visit 1st grade for in-house programming
October 19th at 9:00am: Field trip to the Grow Dome in Glenshire ($5 suggested donation)
*If you are available to chaperone for this trip please let me know!
October 20th: Tahoe Institute of Natural Science visit to 1st grade for Insect presentation
