Looking Ahead
Upon our return from Spring
Break, Room 105 will begin
a unit on shapes. In this
integrative unit, students
will recognize and create
shapes, count shape
manipulatives, duplicate
patterns, add with shapes,
apply a variety of preliteracy skills. Please begin
to identify shapes in the
environment with your child
to reinforce what he/she is
learning at school.
Beginning the last week of
April, we will begin to learn
about the season of Spring.
This hands-on unit will
include many crosscurricular activities and
reinforce important science
concepts. This literacybased unit will focus on The

2- The annual Chicago Walk Now for Autism will be on
Saturday, May 16. Please consider walking or donating to raise
money for autism research quality programs for kids with autism.
