February 2015

Looking Ahead

Room 105 will begin the

month of February with an
integrative unit on
transportation. Your child will
be working towards his/her
IEP goals with transportation
activities, manipulatives, and
books. We will be learning
about cars, trucks, buses,
trains, airplanes and boatsall ways that we can go.
Talking and reading about
these vehicles at home will
be a great way to support
your childs learning.
Attached is a favorite
Transportation Song (sung to
the tune of Twinkle Twinkle
Little Star); please sing this
with your child at home!
We are excited to welcome
Ms. Kathryn Ensch to Room
105. She will be student
teaching with us until the
end of April. The kids already
are familiar with her and
love her presence in the
classroom. She is extremely
thrilled to be teaching and

learning with your children. I

know she would love to meet all
of you, so please feel free to
stop by the classroom to
introduce yourself sometime
soon!
