It is an Indian Hindi-language daily


newspaper. As per Indian Readership Survey 2012, Q-4,
Dainik Jagran is the most read newspaper in India with an
average issue readership (AIR) of 16.37million.
Dainik Jagran has now been the most read
daily newspaper in India for the 25th consecutive time. It
has also been declared by the World Association
Newspaper (WAN) as one of the most read newspapers in
the world. It was named the most credible newspaper
source in India in a survey commissioned by BBC-Reuter.
The newspaper is owned by Jagran
Prakashan Litimited, a publishing house listed on the
Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock
Exchange of India. Jagran Prakashan Limited also
acquired Mid Day in 2010, Naiduniya in 2012 and Radio
City in 2015.
