ABSTRACT

The natural light is very important in any house, But now a days it is very difficult to
provide natural light in urban houses. The science of day lighting design is not just how to
provide enough daylight to an occupied space, but how to do so without any undesirable side
effects. Beyond adding windows or skylights to a space, it involves carefully balancing heat gain
and loss, glare control, and variations in daylight availability
The next problem faced by urban community is noise pollution; Noise can interfere with sleep,
rest and conversation and cause fatigue, irritability, headaches and stress. Surveys show that
noise is an important environmental concern for most Indians. We all need to contain and reduce
noise and protect ourselves from sources of noise in order to enjoy a healthy life. Thoughtful
design and practice can reduce the impact of noise on our lives and improve the quality of our
living environment.
