Steve Hedlund is Senior Vice President and President, Global Automation, leading
Lincoln Electrics rapidly growing global cutting and welding automation business.
Steve joined Lincoln in 2008 as Vice President, Strategy and Business Development,
where he led Lincolns strategic planning and acquisition programs. In 2014, Steve was
promoted to Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business Development. In these roles
he led a disciplined acquisition program which more than doubled Lincoln Electrics
automation portfolio over a four year period.
Prior to joining Lincoln, Steve was with Fortune Brands, Inc., where he served as
Vice President of Growth and Innovation for their Master Lock subsidiary, and as
Vice President, Strategic Planning and New Business Development for the Home and
Hardware Group. Additionally, Steve was a Principal with the management consulting
firm Booz Allen & Hamilton in Cleveland.
Steve earned a bachelors degree and MBA from Dartmouth College.
