Infor Global Solutions, Inc,/SoftBrands, Inc, Lake Forest, California Global leader of software, products and solutions for a wide variety of industries and companies worldwide. Vice President, Global Products Senior Director, Product Management February 2008 to October 2010 Responsible for all Product Management, Engineering, and Quality Assurance staff for SoftBrands, an Infor acquisition and technology leader in the hospitality space, delivering multiple products such as property management systems and central reservation systems delivered via the Web. Led an international Global Products organization with over 130 team members in three countries, delivering over $50 million in revenue. Enhanced and streamlined the Software Development Life Cycle and improved the teams ability to deliver products and services in a timely manner. Brought in an offshore augmentation team of software engineers and quality assurance analysts to create a more robust organization that eliminated over 1,000 defects in our two flagship products in an 18 month timeframe. Headed the Customer Advisory Board, a group of leaders from key strategic customers responsible for providing insight and feedback to the SoftBrands Hospitality strategic vision. Spearheaded the certification efforts for getting multiple property management systems and a central reservation system approved for PCI PABP and PA-DSS compliance for credit card security. Key member of the due diligence team that resulted in SoftBrands acquisition by Infor Global Solutions in September 2009. Moved the development and delivery platform for the entire product line from outdated Windows tools to more progressive Microsoft .NET, SQL Server database and web services technologies.
