Refugees in Houston Design Brief

Problem Statement:

Many Houstonians do not believe we would ever face a

refugee crisis. However, just in case we ever would need to
accept one million refugees, we would need to be able to
settle them with resources and capabilities to sustain
themselves independently.

Design Criteria:

Must be portable
Easy to assemble
Cheap with materials that are easy to find
Durable
Easy to clean
Has to filter water

Design Constraints:

Has to be built in one week

Has to maximize flow rate with clean filtered water
Affordable to the Red Cross
Has to be tested at least 3 times
Under $25
