    2nd Grade News

    October 3 October 7

    King Arts School

    Reading Students are learning how to


    use multiple strategies to read tricky
    words.
    Writing Students are working on
    writing their personal narrative.

    Math Students explored near doubles to solve


    addition problems. They also worked on turn
    around facts and number stories.

    Homework folders should be checked nightly


    and cleaned out as necessary.

    Next week is bring in a joke or riddle for


    share and tell.

    No school October 12th.

    No school on October 21st.

    Conferences are on October 18th and 19th.

    Swim forms for Evanston Swims are due


    October 15th.

    Picture Day is October 10th. Do not wear


    green.
