Long Delivery Material, Technical Datasheets, Support Standard, Pipe Rack Loading Data &
Line Shoot Diagram. This project has major challenges in terms of developing various FEED
Packages for different scenario envisaged by client within a short time frame, tailor made for
EPC project. Along with feed challenge is to conceptualize and detail the Tie in works so all the
EPC Jobs for various Scenario can be done without a plant shut down.

Project: Kashagan Development Experimental Program
Working as Senior Material Engineer for Oil & Gas Unit in Khasagan, Kazakhastan
Preparing Material Inquiry Requistion for Vendor` Offer, after receiving offers from vendor
performing review & Technical Bid Evaluation for Vendor Recommendation. Interaction with
Vendor through meeting and discussion. Resolving Vendor Queries in form of Deviation and
exception, etc.
Performing material specification activities along with Bulk Material Control activities

a)Jan 2004-Nov 2004
Working as Lead Engineer for Propylene Recovery Unit-2
Prepared Equipment layout involving around 20 Pumps,18 S&Tube exchanger,16 bays of
aircooler,3 Vertical Column(more than 50 M tall),6 drums, Compressor and Turbine. Interacted
with various discipline during conceptual stage of plot plan. These equipment are modelled in
PDS as per the CAD area indexing, Preliminary line Routing of Highly stress critical lines are
carried out in PDS environment initially. Overall Modelling of Piping Routing is Underway for
the project. Estimated Number of Isometrics is 1400.
b) Feb 2003- Dec 2003
Working as a key team member in expansion of ATU/SWS unit of Refinery
Due to various expansion carried in different plants Amine Treating Unit and Sour Water Striper
unit expansion is being carried out. I worked as an Area Lead Designer for these units.
c)June 2002 Jan 2003
Worked as Lead Engineer for PRU/SHP/TAME unit of Refinery
Worked on 960 TBPD expansion project of TAME. Primary responsibility as of a Lead Engineer
for DBN project. Preparing Unit Plot Plan for the new equipment which consists of heat
exchanger, pumps etc. Preparing the preliminary piping studies, equipment layout and bulk
Piping MTO etc. It involves of around 200 piping isometric jobs.
d) November 2001 - May 2002
Worked as Piping Engineer/Designer for Crude unit of Refinery
* Worked in 650KBPSD expansion project in the crude unit. Responsible for Diesel Product
System, Circulation System and Vacuum Residue System. Scope of work involves equipment
layout of 7 Pumps, 3 S&T, 3 bays of Air cooler and 1Column. Line Design Temperature in
excess of 350 degree centigrade and line sizes up to 24", All the lines involved were either
highly or moderate stress critical
* Modeled and issued 180 isometrics (PDS-generated) for the revamp job, Nozzle orientation
drawing, pipe support cleats drawings, pipe loading table, under ground input, support mto, bulk
mto etc e) April 1999-October 2001
Worked as Piping Designer for PRU and SHP/TAME unit of Refinery
* Carried out feasibility analysis for PRU (Propylene Recovery Unit) De-Bottlenecking Refinery
Complex. Prepared detailed close out study report for PRU De-bottle necking.
* Developed and prepared Unit Plot plan layout, nozzle orientation, pipe support cleats drawing,
and other DWG's using 2-D CAD packages such as Microstation-SE.
* Preparation of Bulk MTO of piping items and carrying out Piping studies for the Plant
Change Order and Site Engineering requests.
* Prepared and issued Isometrics drawings on Intergraph-PDS software. Issued approximately
400 No: of isometric.
* Prepared Sectional drawing of Plot Plan and G A drawings of piping arrangement on PDSDrawing Manager.
* Carrying out detailed design of piping, piping supports & Quick check stress using CEASARII (Ver 4.3) package.
* Prepared Piping Specification and Design guides for Piping Job for Jamnagar Refinery Project.
* Worked along with Civil to provide input for the design of Civil Pipe Supports.
* Co-ordination with vendors to fix nozzle orientation of equipment.
* Carried out different PDS related activity like Clash check and extracting the dumps required
for insulation mto, Instrument location table etc.
* Carried out Pipe Support Audit after earthquake of Jan 2001.
f) Feb 1998 March 1999
Joined as Graduate Engineer Trainee in Reliance Industries Limted
* Prepared Flow Logic and Chart for Design Calculation of Different Piping Component based
on different Design and Design Related Standards such as ASME & ANSI.
* Developed and designed a Piping intranet web-site (fdc.piping) in order to facilitate and help
Piping personal in need of calculations like Blank thickness Calculation etc, wall thickness tables
etc and other day to day relevant activities. And as well as personal information like phone no,
location etc.
