You will be creating a picture or design formed from 10 lines with these given slopes:

m=0

m = undefined

m = 2/3

m=2

m = -1/3

m = -7/3

m = 2/5

m=4

m = -3

m = -3/4

You may also use 1 circle of any size or 1 or 2 half circles.

Your project will be due at the beginning of class on Thursday, October 13.
Late projects will be accepted (up to 3 days late), but will lose ten points for each day after the due date.

PROJECT RULES:
1) Give your picture or design a title, written somewhere on the front.
2) Use a full sheet of graph paper (8.5 by 11 inches) to draw your design.
3) Write the slope of each line on the line in BLACK MARKER!
4) Dont include any additional lines! (10 lines ONLY!!)
5) You must color the project. You may only use colored pencils or crayons! No marker!!
6) Print your name clearly on the back of the project.
7) You must use a ruler to draw your lines!
TIMELINE:

Mon. Oct. 3: Project assigned.

Fri. Oct. 7: CHECK POINT #1 minimum of 5 lines graphed.
Tues. Oct. 11: Turn in project for 10 points extra credit.
Thurs. Oct. 13: Completed project due with rubric attached!

GRADING:
This project will count as 2 minor grades AND a major grade!!
Your project will be graded using the following rubric:
Accuracy:
Each line graphed with the correct slope (5 points each)
Following Directions:
Picture title (2 points)
Slope written on each line (1 point each for a total of 10 points)
Only using the lines specified (1 point)
Project colored (1 point)
Using a ruler (5 points)
Name written clearly on back (1 point)
Overall Presentation:
Neatness (10 points)
Creativity (20 points)
