QUANTA

POSTS AND THEIR MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES IN QUANTA:

1. GENERAL SECRETARY
To deal with conflicts in society and keep all members together.
He works as a mediator between Department and the society
members.
2. CTC
Interacting with the other societies and communicating with society
members.
Represent the society outside the department, College during the fest,
workshop wherever necessary.
3. TECHNICAL HEAD
To arrange technical sessions/workshops on a regular interval.
To decide what projects should be implemented, what
components/accessories are required for workshops.
4. FINANCIAL HEAD
To handle all bills and money matters that came from workshops.
Tries to contact with sponsors for workshops/events for our society.
5. MANAGEMENT HEAD
To divide students in group for all events/workshops according to
their potential and availability.
To deal with promotion head for deciding what and which type of
promotion is required for events/workshops.

What you should try to do if you are in Quanta:

1.) Apply things you have learnt. Experimenting is the best way of learning.
2.) Talk to your seniors about a possible awesome project. Try to work on something useful, that
you can be proud of, that you can mention in your resume.
3.) Learn things on your own, these are not tutor classes, seniors wont be able to spoon-feed you
everything.
4.) All members should meet and discuss about stuff you can make as budding engineers. Plan
things out, prepare a schedule, study research papers, and do constructive stuff.
5.) Try to attend other college's technical fest, Robotics competitions, Innovation challenges etc...
These are great learning experiences.
6.) Dont fight for a position of responsibilities. No one cares about them. People want to see the
work you have done, not what position you had.
