All about MYSELF

There is a girl named Chelsie May M. Tudio, shes 20 years old, shes a fourth year
college student of University of Mindanao taking up Bachelor in Secondary Education
major in English. During her high school days she wants to be a flight attendant but her
mother told her to be a teacher. She cant do anything but to obey her mothers choice;
she enrolled in the University as an EDUCATION student until he reached the top year
which is a fourth year. And one day he realized that her course was very challenging but
then she started to love it.
She considers herself the luckiest woman on the face of the Earth; she has a lot of
goals in life. She has a dream that one day this nation will rise up, that all children will
have their education. Someday, one goal that she wants to work toward her first
experience as a future teacher is being firm, yet kind, and being consistent with the
consequences because she learned that teachers must have respect from her/his
students. She believed that teachers can do this by providing students with expectations
and the consequences that will occur when expectations are not met. Teachers must
correct the bad behavior of the students and follow through with the consequence
immediately. She also believed that the students respect teachers more when they are
given a choice instead of being told of what to do. Overall, she needs to remember to be
firm, yet kind, and consistent with consequences.
Another goal that she has from herself is use positive reinforcement when shes
already a teacher and she hopes to create engaging and meaningful lessons during her
first year teaching experience.

Finally, the most important is she wants to become more reflective teacher. She
learned that she become a better educator when she reflect on herself. Therefore, she
knows how to adapt her instruction to better meet the needs of her students and she
believed that it is important to reflect on her practice to understand the effectiveness of
an instruction.

My Reflection Paper

Personality is what makes each one unique because it is made up of the

characteristic pattern of thoughts, feelings and behaviors which remains fairly consistent
throughout ones life. The amount of things I have learned in this subject is immense
and to briefly summarize what I learned, I would have to claim that I learned how to
learn. I have a better understanding on how various ways of in taking information can
lead to various versions of understanding.
During our Component A, one of the things I learned is better to know yourself first.
You should ask yourself of what is your goals and dreams. I learned on how to manage
yourself in the situation especially when having a job. And during our psychological test
it really help us to know ourselves better because it gave us hint. And during our
seminars (Component B & C) it taught us how to be a good employee someday, how to
answer better and confidently those job interviews for us to hire any jobs. They taught
us how to write a resume, application letter and the proper behavior of an applicant.
From the beginning up to an end, it was all worth it and very memorable especially
when we were having our seminars. Although, it was a tiring days because we need to
go to school early to attend those seminars that they prepared but its all worth it. Weve
learned things especially when were having a job someday or when we want to apply a
job.
