1. Who are you?

Good day! I am DESIRE SALAZAR SUMAYLO, 29 years of age, a caring and

loving mother of two kids and I am happily married to MICHAEL HINGPIT SUMAYLO for
almost eight years.
I graduated at BUKIDNON STATE UNIVERSITY with a degree of Bachelor of
Elementary Education major in General Education year 2011. After my graduation, by good
luck I was hired as a Subject Teacher in School of the Morning Star (Private School) for four
years and I can say that my experienced of teaching in this institution contributes a big
impact in my life as an Educator.
On year 2013, I give birth to my second daughter named Zzaphire Chade Blaze
Sumaylo, as she grows, our needs in daily life expenses getting higher that my salary in
Private School can’t sustain and so I decided to move forward and took the Licensure
Examination for Teacher(LET) and in GOD’s will I Passed. This license opens the gate of
opportunity in my journey to DepED family. I was hired as a teacher I and assigned in
Miglamin Elementary School.
As a teacher it is a challenging role for me yet inspiring because you’re not just
teaching the child with what they need to know about the subjects but your preparing them to
face their future with a HEART, with confidence, with positive outlooks of life, be a good
citizen and a strong leader of our country (someday), a dreamer and a 21st century lifelong
learner.

2. What are your expectations from the course?

My expectations of this course are it will help me understand what a 21st century
teacher is and how to be a 21st century teacher/lifelong learner. I also expect that through this
course I will grow and gain new insights, ideas and strategies on how to deliver teaching in a
21st century classroom.

3. What are your expectations from your co-FLs?

My expectations from my co-FLs is that they will respect my answers, my opinions

and me MYSELF as well.

4. What are your expectations from your FLT?

 My expectation from my FLT is that he will guide me on how to achieve a 21st
century teacher and help me develop the knowledge, skills, attitude and values of a
21st century teacher.
5. What will you do to complete the course?
To successfully complete this course I will take responsible of my time, read the
modules accordingly, understand what you read and apply. Submit all the task/assignments
on time and be ready as always.
