Dear Hiring Manager,
I am interested in tutoring your son or daughter in mathematics. My resume is
attached in order to prove that I am highly qualified.
Throughout high school I have tutored multiple classmates in both math and
science. I am currently enrolled in the AVID program which involves tutorials. In
the tutorial process each student discuses a topic that they do not understand in
class, and their group helps tutor them in that subject. I have been asked
numerous times to tutor classmates in my math and science classes. I currently
tutor a freshman in algebra 1. I have previously tutored in 3rd and 6th grade
math, chemistry, algebra 2, pre-calculus, AP physics, and AP statistics. I am
passionate about helping others learn, and I hope to one day become a
secondary education math teacher.
I would be grateful if you would accept my job application. I look forward to
helping your son or daughter thrive in her classes.
