Give out worksheets when its time for review
Students will take some time to transition between each activity, and to
refocus after the movement breaks.
Set clear expectations around these transition times to help make things go
smoother

Introduce the topic: Today we are going to talk about humans and
animals, and what they need to live

1) Animal themed yoga


Remind students to find their own space and be
respectful of each other
Encourage them to focus on how they are doing
and not watch others
Remind them to take nice, big breathes

1) Write answers on the board and discuss:


Now, how many of you have pets?
What are some things your pets need to live?
Do your pets need the same things as you?
Do wild animals need the same things as your
pet?
Do different animals need different things?

1) Explain that you are going to call out words


and if students think the animal needs
what you say then move to one side of the
room and if they think they do not need
what you say, move to the other side of the
room
Questions to ask: air, burgers, candy, vegetables,
meat, seeds, clothing, friends, family, a bed, a
house, fruit, water
2) Do the same activity for humans
