Assalamu alaikum,
We had a great start at IFS Durham. Thank you very much for your cooperation and support.
School Timing, Pick and Drop of children:
School starts at 8:30 am. Students should be in school at 8:20 am. School ends at 3:30 pm. All
students should be picked up immediately or latest by 4:00 pm. Please be very careful and show
extreme caution while dropping off and picking up your children.
Uniforms and Late arrival
We are implementing these rules very firmly. No one will be allowed in school without proper
uniform and late arrival in school will have consequences.
Nut Free Zone:
IFS Durham is a Nut Free school. Avoid sending anything to school that contains Nuts. Send
healthy lunch and drink. If your child has any allergies please let the office and your childs
teachers know immediately.
Bullying and Cyber bullying:
IFS has a zero tolerance policy. Please reinforce this rule at home so that the children not only
stay away from bullying but recognize that it is a very hurtful activity that causes serious harm to
the victim as well as to those who initiate it.
Students must pursue Excellence:
Parents and teachers should combine efforts to encourage students to pursue excellence in all
areas of their life, especially academics and Akhlaq. At IFS we challenge our students with very
high expectations. It is the responsibility of the students and parents to make sure that they meet
the IFS standard. Failing to maintain good Akhlaq or falling below the mark of 65% can result in
loss of admission.

Please contact us for your concerns and complaints. We would like to resolve your issues with
the school as soon as they occur. Your satisfaction is most important to us. We respect your
privacy and therefore we do not appreciate group emails. Negative comments do not help to
improve the desired expectations. We will take action against anyone who threatens, spread
rumours, gossips, or makes harmful comments about IFS on social media or any other forum. We
will take immediate action to protect the institution, and especially our students who are part of
this institution. IFS is a family and its members stand up for each other.
