2. Do you think it is safe for them to have balloons?

1. Why do you think the porcupines arent getting balloons?
2. What do you think porcupines plus balloons equals?

3. How would you feel if you were a porcupine and you tried everything to get
a balloon but nothing worked?
Questions after reading book:
1. Who was/ were the main characters?
2. What was the problem and how did it get solved
Instructions for activity:
1. Go back to desks
2. Discuss 1 or 2 boxes together
3. Fill out worksheet independently
Conclusion: Students can share their answers and say what their favorite part of
the story was.
