Diverging Tasks and Missions

Task 1 Flag and group cheer (1 token)


Task 1.2 Watch Cyberbully and you are to discuss some of the things you have
learnt from the movie. (1 token)
Task 2 Use ThingLink to create a collage about embedded computers (2 tokens)
Mission 1 Skid on Information Processing Cycle (5 tokens, 1 power token)
Task 3 Use prezi to summarize Chapter 3 (5 tokens)
Task 4 Use discussion board to post 5 questions and answer 15 and is based on
Chapter 4. (3 tokens)
Mission 2 You are to build an entire system unit by using card board or any
materials that you see fit. Label the parts accordingly and explain its function in
class (5 tokens)
Task 4.1 - Use popplet to create a presentation on the latest types of storage
devices (at least 5) and explain how is it different/ special for the current technology
available to us. (3 tokens)
Task 5 Input and output devices have come a long way. Discuss some of the latest
types of input and output devices that you know of and create a photo/video collage
using thinglink. (3 tokens)
Task 6 - To prepare a wiki on storage devices. (3 tokens, 1 extra token only for the
first group to complete with entries from all group members). Entries can be made
in week 6 of your blackboard.
Task 7 - Each member of the team will have to create a journal on 1 type operating
system and at least 5 types of application programs each. (3 tokens). Entries can be
made in week 7.
Task 8 - Individual learning reflection. Post a learning reflection of everything that
you have learnt from Chapter 9, Database Management. (3 tokens)
Mission 3 - You are required to produce a video on the implications improper use of/
ethical issues with the use of IT. Refer to Chapter 10 for more information. The
video has to be not less than 15 minutes. (8 tokens)
Task 9 - You are required to create a mind map of Chapter 11-Information System
Development and Programming Languages. You may use any mind map
applications available on android or ios. (5 tokens, 2 tokens for the choice of tool).

All self-evaluations will enable you to get a token if the average score within your
group is more than

70 %.

All group missions must be completed by all group members to enable your group
to earn your tokens. Therefore, each member of your group has an important role to
play in the entire process.
Bear in mind that proper time management and proper choice of your
tasks/missions are vital keys to your success. All moves will be made every
Wednesday. Show evidence to support your claim of any tasks/ missions completed.
