ENGAGE Activity 1: 4 Pics – 1 Word (5 mins.)
(Motivation) Divide the students into two groups. (BOYS vs GIRLS) Each group will be given 2 sets of 4 Pics – 1 Word and guess what words does those pictures pertains to. They will find their answers from the letters given to them together with the pictures. The first group to post the correct words wins. Computer – is an electronic machine that processes data. It works
very fast, save your time and energy and can remember a lot of things.
EXPLORE Activity 2: Jumbled words race (10 mins.)
Divide the class into 2 teams. Each team will be given 2 sets of a jumbled words to be arranged correctly in order for them to define the 4 classifications of computer parts. After solving the jumbled words, each team will present the correct definition to the class in a way of Singing and Bond paper, Rapping. (INDICATOR 1 & 2) cartolina and Group 1: Input devices – these are devices that help us put data double-sided into the computer and help giving tape instruction to the computer. Processing device – all the inputs are stored, sorted, arranged and changed by a computer. The device that helps a computer to do so is called processing device. Group 2: Output devices – the parts of a computer that help us to show the results of processing. Storage devices – the parts of a computer which are used for storing data. They help in storing any work done on a computer permanently.
Each group will have different tasks. Group 1 is assigned to identify the names of the basic parts of a computer by labelling.
Group 2 is tasked to identify the functions of the basic

ELABORATE Activity 4: Treasure Hunt (10 mins.)
The teacher will group the students into 2 groups Each group will be given 5 questions If their answer is CORRECT they will be given a chance to move the pirate into the next level of the treasure hunt and they will be given 1 point for every correct answer. If their answer is WRONG the other group can steal and if they answer the question correctly, the points will be given to them. The group with the highest score wins. Power point presentation After the activity, the teacher will call 2 students randomly to answer or ask insights about the topic. (INDICATOR 2 & 3) 1.
