Description of how to implement in the class: For my lesson I will be discussing the civil
right movements. We will talk about all the key events and key people. Remember key
people and events with dates can be confusing but the students do need to know which
events come first. I will show the students my time line that I put together. The time line
that I put together will have the date, the event or person, with a picture so they can put a
face with it and also a description which will be on another page. Then I will have the
students go to the computer lab or work on iPad in class individual creating a time line
with the same key events and key people. They will also add a picture and the information
about that person and key event. They time line will help them get a visual concept of how
the civil movement act happened.

skills such as applying, analyzing and evaluating. The Focus is on the content and the
process
