MALAYSIA HELICOPTER CRASHED

Five people were killed on Saturday (14/6) when a private helicopter crashed in Sri
Darmansara, near Kuala Lumpur. The dead comprised all three men on board, and a pregnant
woman and child who were walking along the busy road on which it crashed. The helicopter
had been helping to install a transmitter on top of a factory tower block. Police said a sudden
gust of strong wind caused the pilot to lose control. The helicopter spinning out of control
and crashing. Helicopter wreckage on ground.
Ethical issues of the incident is Why do we expect other to do things for us in fact it inflict
their life in danger?. In this case, the companys manager responsible to make a proper
discussion and decision whether or not to installed the communication tower in that time and
situation when they have to deal with the bad weather. In other hand, the job should follow
the standard operating procedure of lifting load to a certain height. The engineer responsible
to ensure working area is clear when it deal with a suspended load.
