1. Explain the importance and the benefits of
sleeping.
2. Engage in knowing the features for each
different environment (inside and outside).
3. Explore about animals, which are nocturnal and
morning animals
4. Investigate why we have night and day.

Story book - Pictures of the
objects in sticks plat colour
crayon glue small papers.

Reading the story (20 minutes)

2 minutes

Introduce the story, I will ask children about the cover page of the story. These questions are: what
can you see in the cover page? What is the bear doing? What do you think the bears dreaming while
they are sleeping? what do you think the story is about?

15 minutes

During reading the story, when I will read the story, I will give children a sticks that have different
objects in the story. During telling the story, I will ask children to imitate the sound of the object
when its shows in the story. I will ask them cognitive question that involve their imagination for
example, why the bear cant sleep?

3 minutes

After reading the story, I will ask children about their favorite characters. Also, I will ask them why it is
important to sleep early.

10 minutes

Activity (10 minutes)


I will give each child the opportunity to make their own masks using some materials like plat, color, glue and
crayons. They will use these masks in the role play area.
